After graduation:

  When the student successfully completes their course of study, the student may register for employment assistance at the main office. New England Barber Academy will be maintaining a placement service to assist the graduate in obtaining employment. New England Barber Academy does not guarantee placement in employment as an incentive to start school. NEBA is not responsible for any failure to obtain a placement for the students or for any problem which should arise upon placement in any particular employment. There is no charge for the service. It is understood, however, that the school cannot promise or guarantee employment to any student or graduate. We will post job opportunities on the bulletin board, and a file is kept in the main office. Upon successful completion of the Barbering program and all graduation requirements, the graduate receives a Certificate of Completion from NEBA along with an application for PSI testing facilitators. Graduates are responsible for completing applications and submitting required fees. PSI will reach out with an approval code used for scheduling the licensing exam. Note: A temporary license WILL NOT be issued until your testing date is scheduled. The graduate must pass an examination required by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Cosmetology and Barbering. Barber graduates will be eligible to enter employment immediately upon passing their licensing exam.
